The Vision

The vision is simple: I want to help you discover more about yourself and why you create these films so you can create the films you’ve always wanted. This career means something different to each filmmaker and I want you to know what it really means to you. Why else would we even do this? People have always been interested in my films and I think the reason for that is that I know myself and what I’m trying to create so they resonate with the intimate nature of the art. This all sounds philosophical AF, but in-between the deeper conversations are a lot of laughs and tears that build a memory network for you to change your decisions and how you do life.

On a more technical and specific note, I thought a lot about the guaranteed value all members would get. At first I was focused outwardly on what I had to give as a partner and producer for their brand, then I realized that also having access to what’s going on in my brand and hearing what working with my clients and planners is like is rather invaluable. In many ways I had this with my brother as he was much more elevated than myself (still is in many ways) and it was invaluable.

Mentor & Maker is meant to be a custom experience for each member. Together each member will receive two weekly 1-on-1 meetings with me where we will discuss anything that’s important to you. Over time, we’ll develop this relationship and work on creating one of your films together and it’s my hope it’s your best one yet. In addition, and with optional attendance, once a week the group will host an online hangout where community can share wins and discuss topics of interest. It’s not official, but my hopes are to host a vacation style retreat on the island where I live and I’ll make sure members of this community get first available rates and tickets. This would be a dream of mine so I hope we can make it happen later this year!

Lastly, this program isn’t about me, it’s about you! Your dreams, your goals, your ideas and how I can assist you in bringing them to life. That’s it.
